Narrative essay
WHAT
LOVE IS?
When I was 14 years old, someday one of my
friends suggested me to go to the movie theater. At that time,
I was thinking over for a long time what is sincere, true
and dreaming love for me. Nobody tells the answer, actually I didn't ask
someone that question, I just wanted to find the answer by myself.
Additionally, my parents was tough
and didn't want for me to waste my time because of that kind of grown
man's business. They was totally right. I should
have concentrated on only study, but I can't wait to find
my long-term dreaming answer, what is love for me? For whole my
teenage period.
To be continue
the story, at that time, the movie "Titanic" had a lot of
fame and praise globally and there was no exception in my little
town. So we decided to see the Titanic for sure, on a shiny Saturday
afternoon, I went to the movie with my friends. Thinking back on it
now, it has heavily influenced my whole life especially the title
song "my heart will be go one" by Cellin Dion
until right before I finally found my true love. As we
know that movie was really sad so in the end I began to wail and my nose
endlessly run. Furthermore, I couldn't stop crying all the way came
back to home. After then, I've found all information about the song for
reminding me that touching moment. I definitely agree with "Art is a way
to express and ameliorate your pain." During seeing the movie, I
though this song would be so helpful for someone who losing
their loved one or suffering pain as much as death in deep depression. Like a poem, a song expresses a feeling. We
can share this feeling and sympathize another's sorrow. Also we
can brought cheer to others by singing songs or recommending to
listen some music. For me, "My heart will be go on" is a kind of song
that I want to give someone who feels deep sadness. Because I've never suffer
that kind of sadness, instead of me, I want to ease their devastated mind.
Thanks to
this song, I certainly could understand what love is? Love is worthy to
die without hesitation and Love needs unconditional sacrifice.
Oh - Titanic! Leonardo Dicaprio was my boyfriend back in those days. Hahahaha.
