Hi. Jullie, ladies and Daigo.
My name is Mijin, Hwang from South Korea, and I've been living here for 5 months. At that time I arrived in Calgary, I had got married exactly 3 days before leaving Korea! My husband want to be working here and also living in Canada, There is a reason why I came here. Also, I think English is common tongue globally and will be most important language for rest of my life, I glad to get a chance to study English now.
My
short-term goal is to be a pharmacist in Canada because I want to help people
with scientific knowledge. I knew how difficult it is but I try to do step by
step without doubt about me. From now on, I am going to talk about why I chose
to change my job.
Before
I decided to be a pharmacist, I'd worked at marketing team of department store
in Seoul for 5 years. First, that was really exciting and I learned a lot of
things. But as time goes by, I realized that it was supposed to need exquisite
management skill to lead a team including subcontractors. I thought I already
learned enough how can deal with teamwork as I have a lot of experiences
with leading a team as class or club leader in university. My teams
sometimes got a raise from professors and won a prize at competitive
presentation match so I thought I have ability of leadership. On the other hands
Now, I totally understand how different between school and real society life. I
should learn about how can handle teamwork in right and proper way for adults.
But instead of learning that way, I decided to choose what I am really good to.
After starting to consider that, finally I found that I like to study biology
and do man to man relationship.
Thanks for reading my long and boring story.
I hope all we achieve a big improvement in English!
